Founded in 2002 by Dr. John Mighton, JUMP Math is a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing math education across Canada, the United States, and globally. At the heart of JUMP Math’s mission lies a commitment to equity, ensuring that each student can excel in mathematics through well-structured resources that empower teachers to engage their classes effectively. In a significant partnership, Treaty 8 Polytechnic is collaborating with JUMP Math to develop a specialized course for Teacher Assistants. This initiative aims to familiarize TAs with the JUMP Math philosophy, thereby equipping them to better support students in boosting their numeracy skills.
