Treaty 8 Polytechnic has partnered with the UofA Department of Occupational Therapy to conduct a study titled “Exploring the nature of rehabilitation services and the needs of school-aged children within Treaty 8 schools.” The objective is to investigate the current status and accessibility of rehabilitation services in Treaty 8 schools, focusing on physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology disciplines. This study is part of a two-phase research project aimed at identifying any existing gaps in meeting the needs of students in Treaty 8.
